No, but
all Drivers/Riders must hold a valid full driver’s licence and/or an MSA
competition licence, please ensure you bring your licence with you on the day.
Drivers/Riders and Passengers are reminded that a
Standard Motor Insurance Policy generally excludes use for 'Pace-making,
Racing, Reliability Trials, Rallies or Speed Testing'. It is your responsibility to obtain your own
Insurance should you wish to do so. The
same also applies to personal accident and injury insurance. See 'Links'
You must be briefed, driven
and/or accompanied by an instructor, until you have satisfied yourself as to
the safety and suitability in all respects of the Motor Circuit.
It
is mandatory to wear safety helmets (to current MSA standards) and seat
belts/harness at all times whilst on the circuit. It must also wear suitable protective
clothing, which extends sufficiently to cover your wrists and ankles.
You are only permitted to take one passenger at any one
time, provided your vehicle is fitted with a passenger seat, the individual can
be adequately secured with the use of seat belts or harness, is wearing a
suitable crash helmet and clothing. As the Entrant/Driver you
are responsible to ensure that any additional Drivers/Riders and ALL your
Passengers are signed-on before they enter the circuit.
ROAD TRAFFIC DAY – 10 Cars/98 dBs:
Each session is scheduled to last a maximum of 20 minutes, from the time
the first vehicle enters the circuit to the last vehicle to exit the
circuit. You will get one 20 minute
session per hour to a maximum of 6 sessions or 2 hours, subject to delays or
incidents.
GOODWOOD DAY – 5 Cars/105 dBs:
Each session is scheduled to last a maximum of 15 minutes, from the time
the first vehicle enters the circuit to the last vehicle to exit the
circuit. You will get one 15 minute session
per hour to a maximum of 6 sessions or 1.5 hours, subject to delays or
incidents.
Your track time
is allocated to you at the beginning of the day, you as the
Driver/Rider/Entrant are solely responsible for ensuring you are available and
ready to participate in your scheduled session.
If you miss your session for any reason, you cannot join another session
in an attempt to make up your track time.
